Snowpack
On a generally westerly aspect below treeline, the snowpack consisted of a breakable MFcr on top of Friday's new snow which sits on top of a couple of other MFcr's that overlay a generally weak snowpack. Hs in the start zones was generally 60-70cm, though in places it was as deep as 90cm or so. Hs in the Spider Slide start zone was less than 20cm. Percolation columns could be found below the lowest MFcr reaching down into the basal facet layer.
Avalanche
Several very small (D0.5 or less) WL avalanches out of the cliffs in the Narrows. Steeper areas in the upper Narrows start zones had very small WL avalanches as well as roller balls.
