Weather
Mostly cloudy, light winds, above freezing temps. Clouds were less up canyon than down near Twin Lakes, though it seemed like darker clouds were moving in from the west when I descended at around 9:30 AM.
Avalanche
I descended a steep east face and pushed snow down in front of me triggering a loose wet avalanche. As the avalanche ran it pulled out a thin wet slab. This was mostly the recent crust sliding on top of the dust layer. After triggering this slide I stayed near the bed surface as i am quite certain I could have triggered additional avalanches The avalanche was on an east-facing slope at 12,800 ft.
