Snowpack

The storm from Feb 21-24 brought a fast and heavy load (2'-3' of snow and 2"-3.5"+ of h20) accompanied by strong and sustained southwest winds. This storm triggered a significant natural avalanche cycle, with notable slides observed on virtually all aspects and elevations with exception to due south (though I imagine there may be some there too). Snowpack conditions remian very touchy, especially on any slope that held facets (shady slopes) prior to the storm.

Avalanche

Too many slides to name record them all so am highlighting the bigger ones. These are all on the north side of Red Mt Pass as that is as far as we made it today.
