Weather
Very variable with short (less than 30 minutes) periods of intense sunshine followed closely by periods of S2+. Winds were generally light and calm.
Snowpack
ATL today we traveled mostly on northerly and northeasterly terrain. We had an average snow height of around 240cm or more. The snowpack consisted of about 8 to 10 inches of new snow with about 2 feet of snow that became harder with depth over two dust melt-freeze crusts. There was no reactivity in snowpack tests in the upper 120cm. In areas, we traveled there was no slab in the new snow and it was generally fist hard powder. BTL the snow was moist from top to bottom.
