Sunny, warm, and calm wind
Snowpack
Sunny and low elevation slopes showed significant signs of warming. Under current weather conditions the new snow from the past week is settling and in general the snowpack showed signs of healing, but a handful of collapses and surface cracking are a sharp reminder what lurks below the surface.
Avalanche
Widespread Loose activity observed today out of steep rocky terrain on all aspects below treeline and sunny slopes at upper elevations. Most size 1 but some pushing to 1.5. A handful of old avalanches were also observed on the tour estimated to have run between Wednesday and Friday.
