Weather
2" of new snow. Partly cloudy skies with widely scattered showers, but little if any accumulation. Temperatures warmed into the 30s at treeline and into the 40s at Pass level. Moderate Nerly winds early in the day caused some light wind transport. Only 4" of snowfall accumulation over the last few days.
Snowpack
Spring conditions with a little new snow on the surface. The melt-freeze old snow surface remained supportable at 2 PM even on south aspects.
Avalanche
Some wet rollers out of steep, rocky terrain, but no observed recent avalanche activity.
