Snowpack
Obvious signs of instability like shooting cracks and whumpfing on most slopes that I traveled on today. I dug on a west-facing slope in the upper end of the below treeline band, between two natural avalanche from this last storm. A 2 cm crust with 3-5 mm depth hoar below and 2-3mm facets above provided the bed surface and a fresh wind slab provided the slab for the avalanche activity. ECTP6 directly above a collapsed lens.
