Weather
Overcast and mild with incoming storm from the SW. Calm at pass level
Snowpack
Paths along the corridor have lost most of the early season snow during the two and a half week dry spell. So, not much of a week layer for the new snow to fall on with exception to the north facing paths near the Ophir turn. The snow in this area is very weak and will warrant close monitoring as we build a snowpack there. Otherwise, paths hold only patchy coverage at best.
Avalanche
Saw a few old L R1D1 slides that ran on North and West facing terrain above treeline in the Hope Lake basin area. Hard to tell details due to flat light.
