Overcast and cool, periods of sun. Windy above treeline. No precip.

Snowpack

Snowpack was generally solid, although there were isolated pockets of cross loading/wind drifts. Conditions were variable above about 11,000', some wind crust, plenty of post holing. Quick and dirty pits along the way didn't show much reactivity. Above treeline the snow was significantly wind affected and quite firm.
