Weather

Mild temperatures, ample sunshine, and a light breeze in the alpine.

Snowpack

Clear and cold nights have accelerated the faceting process, especially on the surface of the snowpack on shady slopes. Warm days and ample sunshine melted the snow below-treeline and on sunny slopes in the alpine. I did not observe any signs of instability, and snowpack tests continue to point toward a strong early season snowpack on slopes with around 80cm of snow or more.
