-below treeline -small ridge, locally NE on a generally E aspect slope - ~11,100 ft -broken sky condition, sun would peak through the clouds occasionally -calm winds at snowpit, very strong NW winds at ridgeline, did not measure speeds for either
Snowpack
generally right side up snowpack until bottom layers (40cm to the ground), 40cm to 15cm was between 1F and 4F hard, but easily crumbled once removed from wall of pit, very large grains, did not measure, -no problematic interfaces in upper snowpack, -interface between 75-40cm slab and 40-15cm facets was very poor,
