Cornice-triggered avalanche that ran into the glacier. Note that the crown is symmetric on either side and the remaining cracks on the looker's left is just the bergschrund.

We didn't get close enough to measure the slab thickness due to the cornice hazard. It's hard to tell when the avalanche occurred as there was no significant recent precipitation that could have settled on the debris.
