South sunny side 2000m very unstable 40-60cms deep where it cracked. North side had a release above me 20m where it cracked off where it was drifted below ridge line. Partial burial dug one self out. Was 40-50m long and ran 30m or so. Didn’t get any photos of that one just wanted get outta there.

Was planning on skiing some steep trees and deep pow in a gully you can see from elkford. It was really steep and deep instead of turning around like a smart person I kept going and put myself into some overhead hazards once I pulled myself to a flatter bench area just below the ridge top and top of tree line where I found major wind drifting and a mellow concave slope. Took one step to turn around and it broke off above me 20m and crack off 40-50m long and ran 30m the tree I pulled myself up on saved me as it stopped me from sliding further as the rest the snow carried on.
