Noticed snow on the S aspect was turning from wind crust to consolidated slab in open areas. As we were descending around the treeline on the South Nak bowl, around 1700m or so we triggered a small avalanche, the crown formed between rocky outcroppings from just below cliffs on S Nak face. Occurred very close to another avalanche (the start point/crown of this avalanche was not easily seen). The slide was small enough that the skier in our group easily skied out of the slide.
