Snow Conditions
windAffected, crusty

Nice day out for some mellow Zoa laps. Sun almost broke through a few times but mostly overcast. Skied N and NE aspects, with variable amounts of hard wind affected snow interspersed with some mid-boot heavyish pow. Best turns were on sheltered NE runs on 30-34ish degree terrain above 1700m. More exposed slopes were very wind affected with a hard crust. Anything south facing had a hard sun crust. Skin track up felt a bit crusty, but actually had some pretty good conditions considering on the way back down. The road out was chunky, chopped up, and frozen around 1400m, but wide open so not too bad. All in all a great day in the mountains with no objective other than to have a good time with socially distant friends!
