We skied a SE facing chute on Proctor today. One whump on our descent reminded us of the weak layer down about a metre. By probe we felt that around treeline there was 100 cm of recent storm snow on the older surface. We avoided wind affected terrain on our descent and kept terrain selection to supported slopes.
