Skied on E and N sides of Hollyburn as well as NW side of Strachan South Peak and nothing moved, even on steep slopes. We did hear one big whumpfing though while skinning by a convex bump in the open. Very few 0.5 to 1 slabs on E and N of Hollyburn from December 26. Many 0.5, 1 and 2 slabs on the NW slope of Strachan South Peak, also from December 26. All were on open areas and might have released on surface hoars that we noticed to be very big on December 25 in those areas. The ones on NW of Strachan might have also been exacerbated by wind loading (some were near the crest, but some were much further below and in quite wind protected areas though). Crowns ranged from maybe 20 to 40 cm. We did not notice a single one from today.
