Firm but Fun!

We spent the day in the Corbin area where we found 5 - 10 cm of new snow over mostly hard surfaces. Light variable winds have been redistributing this new snow into isolated wind slabs in lee terrain features in the alpine. The sun peaked out now and again which made the cool temperatures feel better and it was a nice day to be in the mountains.
