We found 20 cm of fluffy pow over supportive crust. Riding was on the crust, but the new snow softened the turns and made for great photos. When the sun broke through early afternoon, the snow warmed quickly and became sticky, both on the skin track and ride down. We didn’t experience any instabilities in our route choice, however we spotted some point releases from the Summit Creek pullout at 3:00 pm Yukon Time, that weren’t there at 10:00 am.
