Previous storm snow is settling and bonding well though it still skis with an nice 20-25cm ski penetration. Hand shears at a 1400m elevation, north aspect showed a repeatable moderate/hard resistant planar shear down about 20cm in small facets from the clearing a couple of nights ago before the more recent snow. Skied convex previously lee loaded tree line features to the high thirties degrees with no results. A thin crust became evident below the most recent snow from about 1300m down and surface snow became quite moist from around 1200m down. Island Alpine Guides accesses private forest land outside of the Mount Washington Alpine Resort boundaries under a license agreement with Mosaic Forest Management.
