At Core Lodge it was low snow as well as low avalanche hazard. In the trees, 80cm was not quite enough to cover the alders. At Treeline and Alpine, we saw lots of rocks and trees. We did not see any blowing snow even with moderate (26km-40km) winds. There was no recent avalanche debris. When we dug down, we found several crusts and an ice layer left from last week's warm spell.

We did not see any blowing snow at ridge crests, even though the wind was moderate. The fetches were stripped down to the rocks.

At BTL, we found a shallow, well-consolidated snowpack with multiple melt-freeze crusts.
