Chilly day in the mountains. Blustery winds out of the southeast when out of the trees.

Snowpack

Below treeline, snowpack is ~50 cm of faceted weak snow. Near treeline, these facets are capped by wind-hardened slabs. Propagating ECT results in October snow.
