Blue Skies in the a.m. with light winds out of the west. Overcast skies over Silverton this afternoon. Warm day.

Moist snow on N-S aspects up to 12,500' before noon.

Avalanche

Fairview Gulch N aspect at 11,500' about 2' deep, 50' wide, and ran about 500' I would think it ran on the melt freeze crust that was covered by snow that started around 5/12 It looked like a natural wet loose avalanche triggered the slab sometime today (5/20) before 11 a.m.
