Weather
warm ambient air temps, but a bit breezy up high. Overcast skis, with some light snow above 12,000 ft.
Snowpack
Froze surface crust above 12,000 ft with moist snow beneath. Crust supportable until about 11K and then it became very punchy with moist to wet snow to the ground.
Avalanche
A prominent wet slab and loose wet avalanche cycle occurred in this area between 5/30 and 5/31. Evidence of wet slabs up to D2.5 on S, E, and W aspects at all elevations, and even a couple smaller smaller slides on N aspects BTL. The structure remains to produce more wet slab avalanches. The cycle has not yet made it to high elevation N facing slopes, but these will come soon.
