3 degrees F @ 8:15 in the Parking lot, rapid transition into the mid 30s by the time we reached gold rush base. Warm day in the sun, some high cumulus clouds but mostly sunny with calm winds, splendid...

Snowpack

30- 60cm of facets in areas, some pockets of wind board that broke down quickly with the solar warming. Generally shallow and rotten or scree, high peaks are super scoured.

Avalanche

None observed, had some pepper come down from above while descending Gold Rush and a few daggers came off on solar aspects while descending SWTH, all seems normal with the rapid temperature swing.
