Weather
The day started out as high thin overcast and became overcast. There was no wind and it was a warm day.
Snowpack
On southeast through east-facing slopes there is a surface crust 3-5cm thick. Under the crust is a layer of broken precipitation particles. The crust is easy to collapse. The rest of the snowpack is composed of rounded grains. On north through northeast facing aspects the snowpack is composed of broken precipitation particles no crust is present. The mid pack is composed of rounded grains. There is still a layer of hard depth hoar at the ground.
