Weather

HS; 34" Slum highway stake, 44" Slum Snotel. Clear skies, moderate Nerly winds with widespread wind transport. Warm out of the wind.

Snowpack

Around 4" of settled new snow from the recent storm fell on a stout MF crust on all aspects except due North. Typical snowpack depth around 90cm +/-. Supportable on skis, but foot penetration to the ground.

Avalanche

No observed recent avalanche activity along the highway in this NE corner of the San Juan backcountry.
