Clear skies, cold, Moderate and gusty NW winds. Moderate wind transport at ridges above treeline west of Hwy 550.
Snowpack
Found reactive Wind Slabs. Wind effects were more significant than on the 23rd. Active wind loading near and above treeline. Most significant loading observed in Grandad Couloir. We decided to avoid this terrain based on these obs.
Avalanche
Minor skier triggered Loose Dry in new snow on shady slopes over 40°. A few very small natural Loose Dry slides on sunny slopes. One notable skier Loose Dry release in "Grandad couloir" 2/23.
