Snowing intermittently throughout the day, S-1. Mostly cloudy skies, temps in the upper 20's West wind, moderate-strong.

Snowpack

Another inch or two of snow this morning at the trailhead. Lower elevations and sunny aspects up to 10200' had melt/freeze crust of varying thickness from yesterday. Numerous D1 soft slabs triggered on slopes at 40deg. or so, north-east aspects. Mostly sliding on melt/freeze from before last weekend. Propagation was increasing from earlier in the week. Despite cloud cover, wind and precip, snow below TL was becoming warm by mid afternoon.
