Weather
Blue bird day cool in the morning heating up significantly to about mid 40's.
Snowpack
Conditions of the snowpack rapidly changed and were highly variable. Dug snowpit around 10am on a NE facing slope. There was a weak layer in our pit however test showed a stable snowpack and we were unable to propagate the weak layer.
Avalanche
On the way up we witnessed a wet slide on SW facing slope of Gold. We also witnessed a significant skier triggered slide further south on a SE facing slope in between Gold and Fletcher. Both slide were above tree line between 12,000 and 12,500 feet, bother were around 40 degrees.
