Avalanche
We skied Swan Dive couloir on Mt Guyot from French Creek in Breck, descended from the summit around 11am. Everything in the couloir was stable for the most part, though we did notice a relatively thin wind slab layer in some spots. After the ski we gained the ridge to the west to ski back to the car. We noticed a slide on a SE facing bowl on the ridge that extends north from Guyot (we did not ski there at all). It looked to be naturally triggered as there were no people or tracks around--perhaps triggered from baking in the sun all morning. The slide happened sometime between 10a-12p, we assume. We skied the opposite side of that ridge (NW aspect) back to the car--no signs of instability there. Aspect: SE Elevation: Above treeline
