Weather

Periods of clouds, sun, snow, groupel. One rumble of thunder around 1 pm. Hot and muggy when sunny/party cloud. Cold and windy during showers.

Snowpack

New snow 4-10 inches depending on elevation. Slab formation on ridges, especially just below Justice's ridge. Eastern slopes appeared heavily loaded, did not test slope.

Avalanche

Skier triggered slide in tight choke between rock bands. Crown 4-8 inches. Only ran about 100 feet and only in the new snow. Skier able to exit without being caught or knocked off balance.
