Weather
Relatively clear and warm in the sunshine. A spike in temperature from 12-1 with rapid cooling as the sun dipped behind the ridge later in the day.
Snowpack
Thin snowpack overall in this area with HS ranging from 30-60cm. Surprisingly there was little evidence of newly formed wind slabs on most N-E-SE faces. Recent storm snow was settling, forming soft slabs that capped a mid pack mostly comprised of graupel. At the very bottom 1-2mm facets had formed into a reasonably consolidate 10cm thick layer.
