Obscured, snowing and blowing. Periods of big, rimed dendrite clumps, S5-10 in the morning. Precip rates decreased to S1 after noon, with lots of graupel and needles.
Winds strong and gusty in the morning. Near treeline, very gusty and variable directions. Intense windloading and crossloading. Winds turned northerly late morning and were less variable.
