Weather
Snowing lightly, wind out of West-NorthWest. Esimated temp at high 20s. Aspect/location/elevation marked by Google Maps pin.
Snowpack
Witnessed about ~10" of storm slab over a very thin wind affected layer. Topmost slab was not well bonded to the wind affected layer. Reproducible re-activity was witnessed in several hand pits: isolating a small to medium sized block on 3 or 4 sides and then tossing a ski pole onto it was usually capable of dislodging the storm slab with high shear quality. No propagation tests were performed, but prior extensive skier traffic over representative terrain gave us confidence in a lack of propagation potential. Aspect/location/elevation marked by Google Maps pin.
