Clear and colder, 20-30 degrees. Northwest winds were strong in the morning, with visible transport, but had died down by the time we were on the ridge lines.

R1D2, point release that gained momentum and entrapped lower layers. When skiing Battleship we noticed this natural in the Cement Fill on Anvil Mountain from the bird's eye view across the valley. The point of origin was half way down the loading zone, about 200 vertical feet below the summit of Anvil, on the lookers' right side of the mountain. It appeared to be a point release that ran approximately 1000'. When skiing Cement Fill later that day we saw the debris field and took some photos.
