Weather

On the ridge around 11,500 feet at about noon. Intermittent snow, cloudy. Strong winds out of East/Southeast. Warm temps ~ 35.

Snowpack

Northwest aspect starting around 11,500: New snow quickly became sun affected and heavy, not bonding well to old snow surface

Avalanche

We triggered several small stuffs on steep, convex rollovers. The stuffs started out small but entrained a lot of snow on the way down and had a very slick bed surface.
