Weather

warm up very evident throughout the day. Temperatures continually warmed throughout the day, and peaked in late afternoon. Skies went from overcast to broken by the end of the day. Winds strengthened in the alpine from the North northwest.

Snowpack

Extremely variable. ATL: snow only exists in isolated pockets, otherwise bare ground. Hard wind drift up to 4-5 thick exists in wind-loaded pockets. NTL: more continous snowpack with depths ranging from 30 cm to 3 m drifts. BTL: isolated hard wind slabs interspersed with bare ground and thin (~30cm) snowpack of all facets.
