Weather

Snowed all day, heavy at times. 2" additional at 1300. AM storm total; 30"/2.94".

Snowpack

Fewer signs of instability (collapse and cracking) today, but nearly 3" of storm water content on faceted surface layers that formed during extended clear spell particularly on N-E aspect at all elevations.

Avalanche

Visibility remained very poor today. Fresh natural slab (SSNR2D1 on numerous aspects below TL) activity along the highway corridor was observed as well as shallow sluffs.
