Clear Skies, Strong westerly winds and light blowing snow. Above freezing temps.

Snowpack

HS of 110 cm on a north aspect at 9,900 feet. Upper 2/3 of the snowpack is made of small rounding grains. Bottom 1/3 consists of larger rounding facets and rounding depth hoar. Surface facets kept skiing soft and fast on northerly aspects BTL. No results in CT, DT, or ECTs but did get a positive result on a PST---PST 35/100 End on rounding DH down 80 cm on a north aspect. HS of 80 cm on an east aspect at 9,900 feet. ECTX and PST 45/100 End down 60 cm on DH. Steep sunny slopes had very little snow in this area. The wind had stripped many exposed BTL north facing slopes of much of there snow as well.
