Warm and sunny afternoon in the mid 30's for temps, scattered cloud cover and light winds from the NW. 11200-12000ft, E-SE

Snowpack

Sun crust forming on S facing slopes and isolated patches of firn spiegel around TL. No pin wheels present on this tour from 11200-12000ft, however on the drive up the pass from Silverthorne there were numerous areas where pin wheels had initiated from rocks and even a small loose wet slide. Wind slab on East facing slopes above TL.
