Weather
At 1100---Obscured skies, snowing S1 with strong down valley (NW) winds at TH just above Turquoise Lake. Skies trended to BKN as day went on and snow tapered to S-1 with stronger convective bursts. Strong NW winds were consistently moving snow near and below treeline all day.
Snowpack
HS averaged 30 cm on northerly slopes BTL. In exposed areas BTL, winds have moved snow into drifts up to 70 cm. Most of the "snowpack" on northerly slopes BTL is from recent storms over the last 72 hours. Near TL, snowpack is highly variable with HS ranging from 0 to about a meter. Many windward slopes were completely scoured. Lots of intense transport above 11K throughout day.
