Weather

Warm and sunny. Ridgeline winds during 2/14. Light 5pmh winds the following two days.

Snowpack

Very strong supportable midpack. Appx 6-8" loose unconsolidated snow on top - more in protected couloirs. Noticed surface hoar developing mostly below treeline A noticeable sun crust developing on sunny slopes below appx 10,600ft Came across very little wind slabs outside of ridgelines and start zones

Avalanche

S facing point releases were common below large exposed rock bands at all elevations We were able to push some of the recent snow into small sloughs during ski cuts at times. Once or twice it continued to move beyond 30ft or so, but stayed entrained.
