Weather
Felt fairly mild even though thermometer read cool. Winds were funneling through the Pass, so more of a north-northwest direction at the time, at this location.
Snowpack
Wind board, Sastrugi, & wind scalloped. Some drifts had to have been in the 4-500 kg/m3 density range. No avalanches old or new seen. The south through east aspects of Red Mountain above Pennsylvania Creek looked like they could be harboring some D2 size Wind Slab avalanches. (See foto)
