Weather

7/8 sky with moderate wind. No wind transport, as snow was quite wet and dense. Air temp in the upper 30's.

Snowpack

Near Surface facet layer 15cm below surface and Ice crust 25cm below surface were visible. Top slab was not cohesive enough to really be reactive on these layer, though. Persistent layer also was seen at 59cm, 95cm from the surface. Overall stability was solid, although I would worry about the top slab becoming more reactive as it gained cohesiveness in the afternoon sun (sun came out almost immediately after digging pit). While skiing, large roller balls (15" diameter) were forming on 25 degree slope.
