Weather

A few high clouds passing overhead quickly from NW. Warm, but not hot.

Snowpack

Surface snow soft, wet on sunny aspects; supportable on skis in untracked terrain, but not on foot. Refreezing quickly when shaded returned. Shady slopes not softening much, or, in most sheltered terrain, soft, moist old snow/ NSF. Neither producing many rollerballs, even when tested. No sluffs produced by short ski cuts. Report of supportable corn mid-afternoon on ATL SW, and BTL W.

No fresh slides observed; only old crowns.
