Weather

Broken skys and snowing up to S2 at times. At treeline winds were moderate out of the west with strong gusts.

Snowpack

Below tree line HST was 33cm's at 11:00. Near tree line the HST was variable due to winds and blowing snow. Hand pits produced some clean sheers between the storm snow and crusts or facet interfaces. The storm snow was fist hard in areas observed and some localized cracking was noticed while hiking/skiing. Made several laps in the near tree line elevation and each time our skin track was refilled by blowing snow. The storm snow was dry at higher elevations and thick and sticky below tree line.
