Snowpack

HS averaged 130cm at trailhead to 160cm at 10,000'. HN24 5 cm at trailhead, 7cm at 10,000'. Obvious dust-crust layer under new snow, which varied in depth from 2-4 cm. Looked like dust was deposited during windy period prior to recent snowfall. Fully supportable melt-freeze crust under dust layer. Ski Pen 0-10 cm. Surface snow was wind affected in most areas with wind etching in sheltered areas to soft slab in exposed areas. Soft slab would crack but no propagation.
