Found 15 cm of finger hard facets below last night and weeks snowfall. CT21 Q1 at the facets on a 30 degree slope. Continued about 3/4 way up the bowl, until I experienced a large whumph and 30ft shooting crack. There I delicately retreated to the rocky E. ridge, and booted back to lower angle, protected terrain!
