calm and mild day, but not warm enough to melt surface facets. High thin cloud cover in the afternoon.

Snowpack

Snowpack is shallower near Sunshine Mtn than Red Mountain Pass. Last weekend's storm snow is readily faceting. Widespread near surface facet. In sun exposed areas below treeline found impressive radiation recrystallization grains 4.0-6.0mm w/ striations.
